Word Cryptogram — a Pumera T&A game
Last updated August 28, 2026
This explains what Word Cryptogram does and doesn't do with your data. Short version: your puzzle progress stays on your device, we don't run accounts or logins, and the only outside data sharing happens through the ad and payment services described below — which you control.
Word Cryptogram doesn't ask you to create an account, sign in, or hand over your name or email to play. Your progress — solved puzzles, coins, hints, streaks, and settings — is saved locally on your device and never sent to us.
We don't operate our own servers that store your personal data. The only data that leaves your device is handled by the third-party services below, each of which has its own privacy practices.
We show ads through Google AdMob to keep the game free. Depending on your region and the consent choice you make, AdMob may use device and advertising identifiers to show either personalized or non-personalized ads.
Where required (including the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we ask for your consent before showing personalized ads, using Google's own consent form. If you decline, you'll still see ads — just not ones based on your ad identifier.
Google's own handling of this data is covered by their Privacy Policy and, for the consent mechanism specifically, their User Consent Policy.
If you buy Remove Ads or coins, the purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We never see or store your payment card details — Google processes the transaction and simply tells the app which item you bought.
Word Cryptogram is a general-audience puzzle game and isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us using the details below and we'll address it.
Because gameplay data lives on your device rather than on our servers, its security is largely governed by your device's own protections. We recommend keeping your device and the Google Play Store app up to date.
We may update this page as the game changes — for example, if we add new features that use data differently. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the update.
